What is the The HookedWiki?

The HookedWiki was created to make it easy to share information and resources across campuses and to facilitate our campaigning. We hope to have a central database of information related to fair trade products, campaigning and groups in Australia and New Zealand. Please feel free to edit, add and remove information as you see fit. You can add pages, documents, images, and other files, so go ahead and share some valuable resources.

Hooked: Students for Trade Justice is about facing the reality that we are all to some degree “hooked” into a cycle of consumerism, and millions of producers worldwide are “hooked” into a cycle of oppression, and that these feed into each other. We are about “unhooking” ourselves and producers from this system by campaigning for change and by making life decisions to counter this cycle.

Being an affiliate of Hooked: Students for Trade Justice means being a part of a movement of people committed to this process, who support and challenge one another, and encourage others to “get unhooked”.

Hooked is seeking to network all the student trade justice and fair trade groups across Australia and New Zealand so that we can share our resources and knowledge, build up collective power, launch national campaigns and much more!

Opportunities for your campaign group
