This is just some quick thoughts which soon i will come back to and put in properly, but we need to think more about CONSUMING LESS! Fair Trade is based on consuming - consuming means to devour (according to the dictionary) so ethical consumption is a bit of an oxymoron- ahh! i am thinking a lot more about this and we need to all struggle through this if are really on about justice and not maitaining an better form of the great divide between consumers and producers.

The Ecological Footprint is a measurement of the area needed to provide for the consumption of every unique individual. The Average Australian uses 7.7 hectares whilst the sustainable Australian Footprint is just 1.8 hectares.
